I played BW and skipped BW2 for a few years, played it the first time a year ago or so.
I ended up dropping it around Undella town because I couldn't get into it, it just failed to hold my interest.
And then I replayed it a few months later and this game absolutely blew my mind with how great it ended up being.

BW2 and HG/SS are just about tied for my favorite games, I just can't put either of them in 2nd place because they both did so many things right.
