>>36758878And finally, Blade. This was a painful fight. Once again, every pokemon (spare Rhydon) had a chance to kill me. Pidgeot could dodge two Sleep Powders and hit with Sky Attack (which has happened) or Mirror Move Sleep Powder, Alakazam could outspeed and hit me with Psybeam and confuse (or hit with Psychic for heavy damage), Exeggutor could hit with its own Hypnosis and bother me with Barrage and Stomp, Gyarados could hit with Hydro Pump and Hyper Beam (both which usually kill, even after the health regain from Rhydon), and Charizard can kill with Fire Blast and stun me with Fire Spin. I got pretty lucky against all of them - most notably, Charizard's Fire Blast missed, which would've easily killed otherwise. And of course, Yamaguchi's last Psychic was a critical hit.
Butterfree was pretty fun to work with. I question its status as a funmon in Gen 1 thanks to its sleep mechanics, but it's still frail enough to keep me on my toes. It's kind of a shame it's already over
