Any normal person would feel the same. A Pokmeon like Rocket's Meowth has had a pretty big crush on humans before. Meowth has been crushing on Chloe in the recent series for example, if she reciprocated his feelings I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be weirded out in fact he'd be happy because that's what he wanted!
The two guy's who love blue are objectifying Wobbuffet not respecting him vs this Chole and Meowth example where they're not objectifying one another and are respecting each other's wishes or interest.
