>Rock is weak to water because rocks sinkYou can aplly both of those things to steel except steel corrodes WAY faster than rock erodes. As for grass I know roots can break rocks after a few decades but thats it plants dont do anything to rocks otherwise.
I know it might be a little to late for that but rocks weakness to those types were are tied to onix and gf wanting brock tohave a cool big pokemon but not be too challenging(this is also why onix sucks and isnt lapras/snorlax level). So it just kinda sucks that rock has been stuck like that for so long
