I looked too, for something, anything that was a ground-type move. My only option..is Geodude's Magnitude to kill it. Which means I would have to grind it 10 levels in order to match this fucker.
It's fucking strange because I caught Onix specifically because I remember it learning at least one ground type move by now. But I checked wiki-run-by-fat-person and they apparently changed it, I wouldn't have brought it along if I had known this.
Any better suggestions? Even my starter gets KOd in two shots from it. There just aren't that many good options for fighting dark types this early that I know of.
Here's my team, all of them are 20-23. The strategy guide I'm occasionally referencing is pretty much saying "Yeah this is the hardest battle you'll find so far, if you don't have the right team you're pretty much fucked. I guess I should have mentioned this earlier when you could have done something about it? Oh well. Kill it and move on if you didn't fuck up before now".
