Fighting/Ghost Huaka'i Po otherwise known as Hawaiian Night Marchers.
They're armies of ghosts or fallen warriors that come out of their burials on the nights of Kane, Ku, Lono, Akua or Kaloa to escort dead Hawaiian kings and sometimes gods from their grave sites to sites of past battles or sacred places. If you were to look at the nightmarchers, or they saw you, you would die instantly, and they will march through walls, buildings, and anything else in their path, so hiding indoors doesn't necessarily mean you'll be safe either.
The only way to survive an encounter with the nightmarchers (save for outrunning them) is if a relative or ancestor of yours was among their ranks on that particular night and claimed you as "Na'u."
"Mine."
