Your best bet was trying to stall it with Chansey in the hopes it wasn't running Submission (because Mewtwo, on top of having an absurd Special stat, also had access to crazy high ATK for whatever reason) or sacrificing 2-3 mons while trying to paralize it and then critting it with Snorlax self destruct
