The fact you are encouraged to put this level of thought into rotating your team throughout the game is proof enough. That just isn’t required in the GameFreak games, you can keep your team of route 1 shitmons and be completely fine if you aren’t bad at JRPGs. Bosses in Colosseum have much more thought out strategies especially when compared to RSE its mainline counterpart. You can’t tell me the cipher admins don’t make the gym leaders and E4 look like a joke.
