Sandy outspeeds and kills it with an Earthquake>Cradily comes out. Sandy hits it with an Earthquake which fails to kill. Sandy dies to a Giga Drain>Dinomight comes out. Cradily somehow outspeeds and hits it with a Confuse ray>Dinomight hits itself in confusion while also tanking an Ancient Power>Dinomight manages to setup Sunny Day but tanks a Sludge Bomb in the process that also poisons him>Dinomight fights through the confusion and fires off a Solarbeam that sadly fails to kill Cradily. Dinomight dies to another Sludge Bomb + poison damage>I send out Ernie. Steven heals while Ernie hits Cradily with an Ice Beam>Second Ice Beam once again fails to kill and Cradily gets off a Giga Drain that that chunks Ernie for almost half his hp pool>Third Ice beam finally takes out the prehistoric plant>Claydol comes out and manages to setup Light Screen before Ernie hits it with a Surf>Claydol hits Ernie with an Earthquake while Ernie breaks the Screen with a Brick Break>Ernie tanks another Earthquake and takes Claydol out with a second Surf>Armaldo comes out. I swap in Richie who tanks a crit Slash before taking Stevens final pokémon out with a SurfGlacia could have gone far worse but Steven certainly could have gone a lot better. Dinomight probably would have swept the last 3 pokémon if i had given it a Persim Berry instead of a Miracle Seed. At least the 2 water bros made it through alive. Leaf Green next. Hoping for a Bulbasaur starter since it's his version.
