Don't bother playing hgss unless you want to spend time grinding to keep up with shitty level curve and revisit kanto, i personally felt it was a chore playing it halfway through. If you can stand horrendous game speed of gen 4 (although platinum supposedly improved it over dp) then it's pretty great and worth your time
