>>55767238>What was your issue with her?Her character development doesn't ring true at all to me, in regards to having a narcissistic mother. (You) spend most of the game hand-holding her and when you find out her mother is a control freak to the point of obsessing over Lillie's appearance, the most she does to address this is... just put on a different dress and put her hair up, and it's treated as such a big show of independence or something. IRL this would've never been enough for her to free herself of her mother's influence. And then she goes back to take care of her mother, which imo is basically just diving back into the narcissism again. She also had free tickets to freedom she never took advantage of (living with Kukui and having a brother who also lived by himself). Maybe it was supposed to show that her mother managed to still have control over her even when she was living away from her, I guess. To me, all this just screams "I'm free but only when he says it's okay". Far from me to imply a video game has to be educational, because fuck that shit, but I don't think it's a good message at all.
I also have issues with Lusamine because of the jelly fish influence taking away all her agency as a villain. She could've been very believable without that, at least. Also, I hate that as a female character, most of her conflict revolves around family. Bore.
>Carmine hates KieranShe obviously doesn't, but she shows some shitty behaviour that's never quite addressed. Kiki just starts talking back to her (which I like) and that's it.
>were gaslit into thinking Whitney doesn't have a MiltankWait, how did that happen?
>>55767259I don't know but I love it, especially if that's the reason why Kiki is so meant for (You)
>>55767263Sure it's obvious he loves them, but the specific mons he uses, Drizzle Politoed or Incineroar for example, look straight out of a competitive team.
The Porygon-Z reminds me of when I used one in my Gen 7 try-hard team
