If Goh had gone to Paldea, which of the three Gen 9 starters would you have liked to see him catch? For me, it's Quaxly. Quaxly feels like a Pokemon that suits Goh with the kind of personality it could've been given in the anime. Quaxly strikes me as Pokemon that would act smug at times, a trait Goh shares. It would be cute and funny if Goh and Quaxly mirrored each other's behavior from time to time, too.

It just wouldn't be allowed to evolve, that's all. Quaxly's other evolutionary stages are... not something I would want to see animated, lol. Keep it in its cute 1st form.

This. While I would love to see Goh stay, if he doesn't, I still have PM19. Those episodes are there and always will be. I'll check out the new series and see if it clicks with me. If he somehow still goes to Paldea with Ash, great, but if not, life still goes on, yeah?
