>>29399964Starters have been OP in the past. Usually by virtue of their hidden abilities, though, and Throat Chop doesn't sound too threatening.
Dark/Fighting ain't too shabby of a typing. You can get past Psychic-types scot-free and you're really only weak to Fairy, which you'd want to switch out from anyways regardless of 1/2 or 1/4.
/vp/ sucks at theorymonning, but it's basically this: there's like three, maybe four viable Fairy-types in the game (which will obviously increase in Sun/Moon, but it'll still be low enough to be hardly relevant). Nothing, and I mean NOTHING uses Fairy for coverage. A 4x weakness to Fairy isn't as crippling as /vp/ thinks it is. Pokemon like Hydreigon and Srrafty aren't OU because of other factors - NOT because of a 4x weakness. 4x weaknesses usually don't play a part in a Pokemon's viability. Both Talonflame and Moltres are 4x weak to rocks, yet the former has qualities that surpass its weaknesses while the latter doesn't have as much going for it.
4x weaknesses don't mean shit. It's the amount of overall weaknesses you have that plays a part in a mon's viability. Heatran is 4x weak to Ground. But Heatran resists a fuckton of things, and on top of that can run a billion and a half sets, so it remains an OU staple and will always be an OU staple.
Landorus-T isn't OP, by the way. I get what you're saying but some people legit think he's overpowered.
