I hated BW when it came out.
I found the plot stupid. I was 15 and I discovered games like Chrono trigger or FFVII and BW's plot, even though it was complex for a pokemon game felt pitifully simple.
Now I regret it.
Because it's clear they put a lot of care in BW and BW2. The new characters are cool, the story is a nice change, the post-game is fantastic (the pokemon world championship??? I've always wanted sad)
Sadly, because of me and the people who grew out of pokemon, BW flopped and Game Freak decided to sell out with X/Y
X/Y is the complete opposite of BW
It pulled out lots of old fans by pushing KANTOOOOO as much as it could but the more you play the game, the more soulless it feels and now, 10 years later it feels bland as fuck
