Might as well throw this pic into the ring again, will color it at a later point. Much like the Bagon line, the base stage is a pinwheel lizard aspiring to fly, and the kite evolution fulfills that dream.
>>26481809I personally liked its overall smoother body and head from the earlier thread
>>26446682 , largely because Feraligatr have plenty of sharp angles and is the number one species you want to avoid mimicking. It'd be good to hear some of the flavor behind this design since right now it's rather simply and only appears to be a Pokemon-ified Salamander, which does the trick but may not leave a lasting impression.
>>26481891Good lineart, but much like OP's Salamander, it's a general looking humanoid with no theme as far as I can tell, so some extra features or another concept would make it stand out more.
>>26482026I like the looks of it so it certainly has the charisma, but the more I study, the more the design can be improved. First stage is perfect imo as it allows for plenty of freedom as to where the coconut theme should go, but the second stage feels rather forced, particularly the palm leaves that aren't really a necessity and are just there to make the legs more interesting. Sadly, I have no suggestions on how to experiment with it, I first thought that the yeti crab's hairy arms could work with the hairy coconuts, but it seems difficult to implement.
>>26482213Looks cool, but it doesn't seem to carry on Rowlet's theme of a well dressed gentleman.
>>26482345I like the first and last stage, middle stage needs to be explained to me though. Also a shame that there are no note/musical references on the last stage, unless that's purely a coincidence in the first stage.
