That game is known for picking up unresolved stories from the games and crossing-over them with stories from other characters from different games like Cynthia learning from Volo (Legends Arceus) that she still has a lot to learn and become stronger with Garchomp. Lance and Steven are getting the same treat with characters like Brandon (Emerald) and Benga (BW2) respectively.

mostly nostalgia. I played every gen till 6 and I enjoy playing with all these familiar characters from previous generations, especially the MCs and champions.

They were given new dialogues, follow ups to their stories from the main games and how characters from different generations interact to each other. Looking forward to the new story event after PML.

It happens to me most of the time. Spent like 20k gems in both Lance and Steven banners and didn't get any of them. Got it even worse when Red came after Steven and didn't have enough gems; fortunately managed to pull one copy after 2 10x rolls. On the other side I got pretty lucky with Cynthia since I have her at 3/5, fully grided and planning to 20/20 her soon. And regarding seasonals, I only have Rosanta, no Siebold.
