Recently failed a run of Emerald so I decided to play essentially the same game but baby mode. I beat OR exactly once but never did the Delta episode, so I figured I'd add that as part of the challenge. So far it's less piss-easy than I expected, possibly because my team is fairly weak or possibly because not being obscenely overlevelled all the time makes this game more of an actual challenge.
The leaders have been chumps so far, but with Wattson (the fucker who cut my Emerald nuzlocke short) right around the corner that's definitely going to change soon. What I'm most surprised about is that I ended up getting Slakoth both in my last run and this one, I'm taking this as some sort of divine sign that I'm going to actually succeed this time.
