>>41186426The thing is that the whole line is the first time they do a literal growth/maturity line based on Crybaby Child - Emo Phase Teenager - Profession-Practiced Adult, but it's such a weird way to apply such a theme.
The first 2 are obvious and easy to make a design for because kids are crybabies and you just have to emphasize that. A rebel phase is also a logical transition point because most teenagers go through it, so once again you just play it into the design easily. But Adulthood is MUCH harder to pinpoint because when a kid grows up he could theoretically be anything. A Lawyer is a known profession, but it'd be stupid to do a Lawyermon. A Professional Serial Killer would be hilarious and beastly, but it obviously doesn't fit the design demographic. So i guess they just had to narrow it down to cool professions that could actually appeal to kids, and since they were in the UK vibe, Secret Agents seemed fitting for the birthplace of 007 (and the charicature of chameleons is that they can supposedly be stealthy because they can become "invisible", so the animal fit too..kinda).
Scorbunny was always a Soccer trainee. Grookey was always a Drummer. Sobble could be anything he wanted, so he became a Secret Agent.
