>>18696914>They want each game to have something of their ownI don't see how removing fun features equates to trying to be more unique. If anything, I say it just sends a strong sense of laziness. I suppose it would be the same 'uniqueness' if GF decided to keep Johto based Pokemon to Johto, Kanto based Pokemon to Kanto and so on... because you defending their decision to remove features for the sake of keeping it 'memorable' is the same thing as that example.
>Pokemon is meant for trading and having two versions means you can actually tradeThere are about 10-20 Pokemon you can't get without trading. You honestly feel that justifies creating two identical games? If you're going to create two games, then make them different enough to where it feels like they are two separate games. In essence, they're creating the same exact game and selling it twice. THEN, as said, the third game comes out with very little differences. They have the money and the resources to put more effort into actually trying, yet they don't.
It is a cash grab.
>DLCEvery 3rd... 'game'... is basically an expansion pack. Which is absurd considering how much money they already have. They can't be arsed to put in a little bit more effort into it? Like perhaps adding back past features, for instance?
>they started to drift away from that starting gen 5It was an, okay start.
Pokemon Z will be a better indicator. But until then.
>Stop that shit.No.
With all due respect, I think your love of Pokemon is not enabling you to see just how much of a cheap/lazy company GF is, and just how much they like milking fans like you over and over who. In thinking about it, perhaps Pokemon would be better off with an American spinoff game.
I'm going to bed.
