Done a Firered run a long while back, but posting it now. It was a wild run since the early game was ridiculously easy and after Erika I got my teeth kicked in until Koga.
I also used Omastar as my Lance counter because I'm retarded about pre-split pokémon and thought Dragon was Physical.
Only noteworthy thing about the Gary fight was that Boss Buzz lived on 1hp
