His team is Ralts, Venipede (who gives me trouble with poisoning), and a Zorua who doesn't have Illusion.
Upon beating him, he tells me his name is Light -- just like in his favorite Japanese anime!
I get back to Silkweed Town and the Gym Leader, or "Guardian Master," is there, Janice the Flying-type trainer.
I notice that Gym Leaders have a similar thing to the trainer close-ups from Victory Fire (I think that was the hack). As do their Pokémon.
Janice only has a Lv. 10 Pidgeotto, though it's fucking strong. Upon beating it I'm given the Symbol of Freedom, but apparently I need a Pokédex for it so I'm told to just not tell anyone about it until I get mine.
