...And it turns out no in-battle healing + set mode are hard-coded into the game. Cool. This game actually has crazy documentation. There's a whole sheet that explains how the AI works. I could read through it and predict the AI perfectly but even I'm not that autistic.
The most important aspects of this hack are that you get forced level limits and infinite rare candies. The level limits aren't limited to just gym leaders but also "minibosses." Since I'm a filthy doc-looker, I'm basically changing my team up for every specific battle to counterteam trainers. They have crazy strategies like Sticky Web + Salac Berry Belly Drum Munchlax. So far the closest call was against a SonicBoom Yanma (which punished me for forgetting to give my pokemon Oran Berries) but I lucked out with Water Pulse confusion and got away deathless.
Here's the team at Dewford. Feeling lukewarm about the team but it's been holding together. Also love that I got a Bun in Run&Bun and it's Timid nature because of course it is.
>>54396757>>54396634Tangela isn't bad. Sorry about Raihan, planning is always worth it.
>>54396797I like your writing style! I would personally box Luxray or Clefable. Luxray doesn't have any great matchups outside of Milotic and Clefable is kind of a wild card though screens could come in clutch.
