Seems like a waste for those like Mawile and Absol who would've done better with actual evolutions. But it's a neat idea for fully evolved Pokes and genius for changing things up for Pokemon like Kangashkan.

Feraligatr with Water/Dark typing, but disregarding starters, I'd love to see a Cofagrigus evo similar to pic related.

Froakie: Thin and agile looking with gray spots and his bubbles cloaking most of his face similar to a ninja.
Fennekin: Long strands of hair through the ears and a flowing tail. Maybe a persian-type stone on its forehead.
Chespin: The green shell covers most of its body, a few buds here and there.
