We still have, depending on how you look at it, almost 20 years of great to passable in quality content and hundreds... no, thousands of like-minded people, some of them with talents and skills to create their own. Ultimately it was never about gf, nintendo, PTCi or other companies but about passion of fans. You still can play, watch and love old Pokemon content and find people that like it, too.
