Food, transportation, housing, energy, and access to healthcare, all seem to be solved issues. The economy seems to still run on the usual industries: resource extraction (including agriculture), resource refinement, low-to-high-end manufacturing, and a really thriving consumer market. But then from the way the "villain groups" seem to constantly recruit dejected bored youth - a lot of the economy might be automated to the point of making unskilled labor completely obsolete or redundant unless it's some kind of artisanal or cottage good, or that which otherwise requires an extensive amount of education and training to be employable.
