When trading, I originally got a cutiefly for popplio. But it was level 48. So I sent it back out and got Diglett (which is still pretty overleveled). For grubbin, I got Froakie at lvl 1.
When Diglett isn't disobeying he does pretty good. He will probably be the first death though because I can't waste a bunch of potions in every major fight on him.
