Maybe it's because of different time perception that we have now?
Like how things felt like taking forever when we were kids, so doing the same level of a game over and over and over again didn't feel tiring;
While now as adults, time just fly so fast, it feels like a waste to start over and over the same game...
Maybe we lost the value of enjoying challenges, even if they're not that hard. Just tiring our lazy ass
