>>53288669Gen 1 and 2 feel more like jrpgs of the time. They do feel very magical. The promotional art really helped. Atleast for me anyway. I remember being obsessed with the art in the game manual. (Still the best game manual) I remember getting really excited seeing thst the gen 2 art was similar to Gen 1's. The eggs looked so cool. Seeing all the different patterns with that style was just amazing.
