Unova and Kalos face the camera because Galar is also a European based region while the majority of Japan’s representatives (even their Pokemon) are facing away from the camera... With exception for Liza and Tate and their Pokemon.
Not only that but while Liza and Tate triumphantly high five their signature Pokemon are outside of the frame and in front of everyone else.
I don’t think any other representatives are facing away from the screen, just the psychics.
