S'up, /vp/? I have an old Black and White Doubles team that I used on Wi-Fi alot. But I need help updating it to be competitively relevant in the X/Y generation. How can I do that? How does it look as is? I'll be as brief as possible:
Latios @ Dragon Gem
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Psychic
- Protect
My main man, the big powerhouse. DP is for OHKOing dragons w/o killing its offense. If that uses up the gem, then DM can get a Helping Hand boost. Works best as a mid-late game cleaner.
Scizor @ Flying Gem
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spe
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Acrobatics
- Protect
The second half of my DragMag core. Acrobatics does a fuckton of damage and lets him take out Fighting-types (like Scrafty) who would otherwise not be very threatened by him. The EVs have a speed creep for 4 Spe Scizor.
Cresselia @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Calm (+SpD, -Atk)
EVs: 252 HP / 28 SpA / 216 SpD / 12 Spe
- Psyshock
- Icy Wind
- Helping Hand
- Trick Room
Great support, always lead with it, it is so hard to kill. Psyshock hits Hitmontop in its weaker defense. Icy Wind hits dragons and is good for speed control. HH is there because it's good. Trick Room is for shutting off the other team's TR if they have it, and my slower Pokemon can abuse it to great effect. Trust me, you need to be prepared for TR on the GBU.
Will continue in second post, please don't post yet.
