Then again I mainly write AU and build worlds. If I'm reading it's usually not fanfiction but instead a lengthy volume or novel with depth, detail, and dimension. Not trying to sound like a pretentious ass, but nearly all fanfiction I've come across is just too damn short for my tastes.
