As someone relatively new to competitive battling, I'm building a sandstorm team in-game, mostly via Smogon stuff that looks like it works together. Here's my rough outline so far.

The idea is to use Sand Rush / Sticky Web / Trick Room to speed up bulky, sand-supported attackers. I'm not quite sure on Tyranitar and Garchomp, and I don't know where to make alterations to the base Smogon copypasta.
