I'm on my break at work right now. I work for a pretty well known blue and yellow electronics retail chain.
We got our first shipment in that included x/y and the guides. I have a friend in the warehouse.
The guides normally come wrapped in plastic. I convinced him to let me tear one plastic open and look inside, but I couldn't take any pictures and I haven't been able to look through the guide as much as I'd like because I don't work in the warehouse and I'm having to sneak back and take peeks when my bosses are not looking.
I'll tell you what I know. You can believe it or not, all I'll say is screencap this and compare on the 12th when everything comes out into the open.
>The final starter types are indeed water/fighting, fire/psychic, and grass/dark
>Greninja is NOT real. Froakie final evo is Frogeneral, larger, darker blue, bubbles remain a theme
>Fennekin final evo is Wixen, combination of witch and vixen, has more black fur on it's head, bipedal, loses the tail stick
>Chespin final evo is Chesknight, has a large green helmet and armor, it's actually kind of ugly
>Farfetch'd gets a mega evolution
>the pokemon daycare in this game gives you your first egg and the egg bag
>Furfrou has more than 3 haircuts
>there are not a whole lot of new pokemon that we haven't seen yet and at least half of what's left is megas
>jynx gets a mega evolution
>there's a new horse pokemon but I don't remember the name, it looks like a pegasus and I think it might be a fairy type
I only had a few minutes to look and my break's about to be over. I'll hopefully get to sneak back a few more times and make another post when I leave work today at 5.
