The disaster that was gen 5 will never fucking happen again. The vast majority of people fucking hated it, no adult with any self respect would think that gen 5s pokedex which is filled with deviant art tier abominations is at all acceptable, you'd literally need to have the mind of a toddler to enjoy that shit.
As long as the games keep going in the direction that gen 6 and gen 7 (USUM specifically thanks to the improved difficulty) have taken us then everything is looking kino.
