They MIGHT show the mid-evos, but in personally think it's still too early.
And unless the Pokemon are dramatically different than what the final evolutions look like I doubt we could use them to determine if leaked evos are fake.
Look at Pokemon like Greninja and Samurot, we could very easily get another mid evo that completely drops certain aspects for others for the final evolution.
Really the best way would be to look at the types. I.E. if Popplio's middle evo is fairy type then they're basically guaranteed to be real.
Honestly I don't give a shit as I really don't care if the leaked evos are real or not, although evidence suggests they are.
