>>56187531Despite him being a cartoon cutout villain, I think this scene is way better executed than the Pyrous Mountain one for a few reasons; it doesn't have Cal's retardation to blunt the 'tragic' element and the game spent a bit of time establishing a closeness between Ava, MC, and Scarlett. The portraits coupled with good overworld sprite choreography also really help sell how hard Scarlett is taking it in a way that Reborn didn't. Way less wooden overall.
