Also screw you, the nose is great and reminds us that it's still a little hedgehog-ey. Plus it fits with the other spiky parts and stops the face from looking too flat (I wish Chespin had a bigger nose.)
It also doesn't look like a pangolin to me at all. But if it did, the nose would be even more justified. Also the spiky part is just the cupule. Gotta Wikipedia harder.
