>>51376646>What do you think about it?It's the most genuine honest to god kind of fun I've had with this franchise since XY. It's not an objectively good game, but the very few changes they do with the Pokémon formula are huge:
>being able to walk, sprint, jump, hide, fly>walking around wild Pokémon feels like a threat now>you can catch Pokémon without having to battle and you have to be (sort of) strategic about it>battles are fast as fuck>switching Pokémon or choosing items is fast and intuitive as well>you can battle right where you are instead of having the battle scene be a completely different scene. I've had some kino moments where my mons are fighting wild Pokémon while one of them is on top of a small cliff>controversial: I loved doing the Pokédex research tasksThis game is doing everything in the right direction for the kind of player that likes to play Pokémon for the single player experience exclusively. Sadly Scarlet/Violet aren't taking many elements from PLA, so I can only hope they do it with Gen 10 or they make another Legends game.
Emulate this game, I highly recommend it.
