>>58315746That’s just because it’s easier to animate that profile more than animators wanting to make them cat like and on top of that anime noses are drawn in a weird angle. That profile is a stylistic choice for ease of animation similarly to how people draw the anime side mouth which is like their mouth is coming out of the cheek.
I hate this meme because people actually think anime characters are meant to look like cats instead of having super stylized baby faces. One quick look at how anime
figures are modeled should dispel any notion that they’re cat faces.
