Her "body" looks to be all hair growing from her head and used to give her shape and probably protection. Grimmsnarl does the same thing with his hair bulking up his body and giving him the appearance of muscle mass.
I know I compared her to Grimm, but he's a good example.Though it's a general observation, I don't think there's any real source available to confirm it. I haven't looked very hard anyway.
