They let you bring Virtual Console Pokémon from the Bank, which was incredible to me. I was surprised that they went out of their way to do it, but happy to see it. Every game was back in continuity on one device, Gen 1-7.
Some people also use things like PKSM to manage data between Gen 4, 5, 6 if they’ve cracked their 3DS.Unfortunately I have not motivation to move to SwSh or Pokémon Home. Too much has been taken away. The Nat Dex, Mega Evolutions, Exp toggle, Set Mode, Triple Battles…If I dabble in Pokémon today, it’s usually on the 3DS where you can still have those things. I don’t want to pay for a Home sub on top things like NSO either because Nintendo online sucks. I’d rather just stop collecting than pay them more money…20 years was good enough.
