>>57482498Also 35 here. I finished PLA and SV, but I mostly skipped Gen 8 since LGPE and SwSh didn't hold my interest. Honestly Gens 1 and 2 are the only ones I'd ever desire to go back and replay, since I was extremely let down by Gen 3 and all the subsequent mainline games as a kid. I prefer the barebones Pokemon experience even if the new games are technically impressive. I haven't been into competitive since SM and never played USUM. It's hard to stay invested in this series and find the time for it when I typically work about 60 hours per week, none of the girls I've ever dated have cared about it, and my high school friends I'm still in touch with don't play anymore either. One of them says he might get back into it when Champions comes out, so we'll see. Maybe I can start buying Pokémon Squishmallows for my gf to gaslight her into becoming a fan.
