Arcanine has always been my ride or die fave since gen 1
loved Espeon and Raichu back then, still like them, but Espeon was replaced by Glaceon, then Glaceon by Alola Ninetales who is the core of my hail team so not my main travel mons, meanwhile Raichu merged into Alola Raichu who is a very close second to my love of Meowstic, but I just like Meowstics vibe and prankster screens more for a main travel team.
Grovyle was my fave grass type till gen 6 with Chesnaught and Trevenant who are both top tier, I also had an edgy loner type Sneasel at the time, both it and Grovyle have been replaced by Lucario in spirit as the cool fast guy
Murkrow I still love but Noivern is just under Arcanine in top love, and you can actually realistically fly with one
Finally added a water type/surfer with Carracosta, only just beating out Lapras on the team because Lapras can't do shit on land
