In team Grass i would kick out Chikorita (being a bad support pokemon, and that's bad coming from a starter being also only grass type and weak to TRASH moves (poison moves) yeah exactly that, if you throw a garbage bin at him he would faint instantly.
For the fire starter team i would exclude Tepig for being the 3rd part fighting type and having the worst stat distribution and movepool of them all.
And for the water starters i would throw out Oshawott being another water monotype and mostly because he has very balanced stats, to the point where you don't see him highlighting in anything plus his movepool is mostly water type moves and other type moves like bug and fighting that has are pretty weak.
I don't think any of the new starters are going to change my opinion on the worst starters of each type, so that's my decision.
