Lately the artificial island was revealed to be the Aether Paradise so basically now all 5 islands are main game and there's nothing significant enough.
The two small islands i marked with red circles arent big enough to have something more than an additional legendary encounter or hide the Battle Tower-thingy of this region.

Is there any excuse to not have bigger post game again?
Unless there's a travel to Kalos in the post game (top kek) it doesnt seem there's anything past some additional tasks around the region (collecting pokemon and items etc)
