>>38220080Since I was a little boy, I would fo down to my local chrch. And I'd pray to whatever god would listen;
Please let Pokémon be real
I won't lie and say this game is great, it's hardly even good. But it's given me a childhood dream come true. Not only that, I've actually met a lot of great people I'd otherwise never interacted with. I even met my girlfriend playing this. And I spend way more time outside.
I'll blog a bit more, bear with me.
I used to play MapleStory, I was in a big guild on Mardia and we ran the show, not only that we had a teamspeak server, and we were on it all the time. Didn't matter what time, someone was always on to chat with. The low stake-social interactions are something I have missed dearly. And now, I have a game, that gives me a chance to have that again
>hey man how's it going?>caught anything good today?>how bout that most recent Niantic fuck up?>cool, wanna go to the next raid!>good to see ya, probably out tomorrow, see ya!Now, I play this game a lot, I've been with the Pokémon series since day 1, and now, a dream has finally come true (as close as it can be) and I have met so many friends along the way.
I'll play PoGo until the day I die if it so lasts that long. It's never been about the destination or the spoils; it's literally the journey and the friends I met along the way.
