Let's Go continuing as a side series replacing remakes it a good idea. Remakes that just update the mechanics are the worst kind. If I wanted to play those games I would, with or without abilites, physical/special split, etc. PLG as a series is those games in a new(ish) way, which is much more enjoyable than those games in the same way but a little better.
