I think it's just her loose clothing that makes some people mistake Wicke for an obese person.
It's my honest belief that Wicke works out because she's a hard-working scientist and seems like a person who would take care of every aspect in their life. You know?
Not only that, but she has in her use a fantastic science lab, the Aether Foundation, that's bound to have some sort of gym in the basement. I bet all the science girls go there when the show is not being filmed. Probably Sauboh, too, but it's not like the girls would allow him there at the same time. By the way, I've always wondered why Sauboh-san is referred to as a "geezer", even though he doesn't look that old to me. Wicke and the ladies are in their twenties, I think, and Sauboh is maybe late 30's?
