Fuck off, that's just a stupid excuse.
Then you can't use online features on your second save, so if you wanted to, for example, trade your mons over because you needed a second copy of the box legendary to trade for dex completion or all the fossil combination mons or Regieleki AND Regidrago you need to send everything to pokemon home then delete your fucking save file JUST so you can do this, probably multiple times.
This means you gotta pay for Pokemon Home, not because you want to use it, but because you're being FORCED to use it to complete the dex because they still haven't given the BASIC option to have multiple save slots on the same account that is practically industry standard for RPGs.
