Keep in mind there's a lot of changes and censorship.
The only good dubbed movie is M03, due to shitty plot changes in the Japanese version that angered the scriptwritter but were rectified in the English version. The rest are better enjoyed subbed. The problem with international releases of Pokemon movies is that they used the Japanese theater version, not the final VHS/DVD/BD version that has fixes and changes. Another problem is that they cut a lot of segments of the movies to make them shorter (so some movies are missing like 30 minutes) and replace the music (Lugia and Mew music is good because 4kids actually cared for music but DuArt music is absolute cancer). Kalos movies suck. Best movies were OS, Gen 3, Gen 4 and M20.
It's an ok children series. Gen 3, 4 and 5 seasons are very underwhelming and poorly animated except for a few bits. You will likely have the most fun with OS, Gen 6 and 7. These are definitely the best planned and best animated seasons.
